We are currently collaborating with a dynamic property management team in Montreal, QC, where top-tier service meets innovation and collaboration.

As our Accounting Technician, you will take charge of financial operations, ensuring seamless processes through meticulous bookkeeping, precise financial reporting, and dedicated support for our property management team. Together, let’s achieve something extraordinary!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage financial records and transactions for property portfolios using Yardi software.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end audits.
  • Monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure accurate financial documentation.
  • Support the preparation and processing of payroll for staff.
  • Reconcile tenant accounts and handle billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with tax filings, compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the management team to streamline accounting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, ideally within the property management industry.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.
