Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
  • Oversee HR operations, including employee records, benefits administration, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws and workplace regulations.
  • Support employee relations, handling inquiries and resolving workplace concerns.
  • Assist in recruitment and hiring processes, coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  • Maintain HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and performance records.
  • Collaborate with management to implement HR strategies that enhance workforce efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on HR best practices, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor HR metrics, identifying areas for improvement in employee engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and HR regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR management within the logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR operations.
  • Familiarity with Quebec labor laws and employment standards.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual (written and spoken)
