As the Senior Quality Control Manager, you will take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing. In this key leadership role, you will oversee quality control operations, manage compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive the successful execution of testing, validation, and documentation processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality Control team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee analytical testing and validation processes to ensure compliance with GMP standards. Conduct root cause analysis and manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address quality issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and Health Canada standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting systems for quality control activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and enhance quality control procedures, ensuring alignment with company and industry standards.
- Stay updated on regulatory and industry developments, providing insights to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory compliance (FDA, Health Canada).
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Proficiency in quality control software and documentation systems.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
