As the Sr. HR Manager, you will lead the HR Business Partner team and provide strategic support to company management. In this role, you will oversee key initiatives, including recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and labour relations. By successfully executing national, regional, and global HR programs, you will drive the company’s growth, ensure compliance, and cultivate positive relationships with unions and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, ensuring continuous improvement and effective onboarding of qualified staff.
- Lead the execution of talent management processes, including talent reviews and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and develop targeted communication action plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions.
- Act as the lead spokesperson in collective agreement negotiations and manage sensitive labour relations matters.
- Provide leadership and administrative oversight of the labour relations portfolio.
- Partner with management to address employee relations issues and provide HR support for business requirements.
- Evaluate organizational structures, job designs, and personnel forecasting, and make recommendations to executive management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field of study.
- CHRP/CHRL designation preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience in labour management and collective agreement negotiations.
- Strong organizational planning and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance structure with entrepreneurship.
