Job Description

As the Head of Product Development, you’ll lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap—from ideation through launch. Collaborating closely with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and executive leadership, you’ll drive product innovation aligned with market trends and business strategy. This is a strategic leadership role ideal for a product visionary who thrives on turning concepts into commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the overall product development strategy in alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of new products-from ideation, prototyping, and testing to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, R&D, and operations to bring products to market efficiently and successfully.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer needs, and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Lead the development of product specifications, testing protocols, and compliance documentation.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget product delivery.
• Build and mentor a high-performing product development team.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure feasibility and quality.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Development, or related field (MBA or Master’s is a plus).
• 8-10 years of experience in product development, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of launching successful products in consumer goods or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of product design, materials, prototyping, and commercialization processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Highly analytical and creative thinker with strong project management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
