We are excited to be partnering with a leading manufacturer in Montreal, QC, known for its commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and sustainability.

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical staff, driving product innovation, process optimization, and engineering project execution. You will play a key role in aligning engineering activities with business objectives and collaborating with departments such as production, quality, and R&D to ensure the successful development and delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical professionals across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new products, components, and systems.
• Drive process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
• Coordinate engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to support production and innovation goals.
• Maintain and improve engineering standards, documentation, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Perform technical evaluations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s or P.Eng is a strong asset).
• 7-10 years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in CAD software and engineering documentation tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering projects and teams.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred or comfortable in a bilingual environment.
