Job Description

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Supervisor to lead a team responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire alarm and security systems. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects meet safety and compliance standards. You will work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to deliver high-quality solutions for life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and electricians
• Assess sites, plan corrective actions, and manage installations
• Coordinate subcontractors when required
• Configure and manage alarm monitoring platforms
• Oversee inspections, programming, and maintenance of systems (fire alarms, intrusion detection, gas detection, emergency lighting)
• Prepare inspection reports and review technical drawings
• Estimate project costs and provide technical support
• Ensure compliance with building and fire codes

Qualifications:

• DEP or equivalent in electronics/security systems; fire prevention certification is an asset
• 5+ years of experience with fire alarm systems
• 5+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of National Building Code and fire safety regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with Mircom and Bosch systems (asset)
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual (French preferred)
