As the HR Director, you will lead the development and execution of HR strategies that support the company’s growth and people objectives. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, and compliance. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who thrives in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on growth, retention, and employee engagement.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning to support a growing workforce.
• Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations (including CNESST and Quebec labour standards).
• Design and manage compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
• Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that align with company values.
• Provide coaching and support to managers on HR best practices and employee development.
• Manage HR systems and data, ensuring accuracy and strategic use of people analytics.
• Champion company culture and support change management efforts across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (CHRP or Master’s is an asset).
• 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments.
• Proven ability to align HR strategy with business objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and French (or comfortable in a bilingual working environment).
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with HRIS platforms.
